A Lake Trip

Thought you'd want to see how I like to spend some of my time....Here's one of our trips to the Lake.

I'm a Stud, with a Soft Heart.

I guess to start with I should tell you a little bit about myself. I'm just your typical dude...I like meat, fishing, camping, playing with my balls, and my girl. I have a family I'll protect to the death. I have two boys, ages 8 and 10, and my Mom (Amanda) and my Dad, Ben. I've been living with my Dad since I was just a puppy, and we adopted Amanda and the kids about a year and a half ago.
Since we moved in with Amanda, I have a yard that is almost a third of an acre that is my domain. I love to chase my balls around, and even have a tether ball hanging from the tree that is my favorite source of exercise. Every day I corral all loose balls into the stairwell, so as not to lose any of my favorite toys. My kids have a swingset/club house that I like to climb up the rock wall to check out the goings' ons, so as not to miss out on anything. I can make a quick escape by sliding down the slide should I need to go bark at anyone on the walking trail that borders our yard.

My girl is a black lab/boxer mix named Kula. She is my best friend. When we go walking, my Mom and Dad have a special leash that connects us together, so it's easier for me to stay with her. If we don't have the leash, if we are somewhere unfamiliar, I just touch my nose to her bottom and follow her and she keeps me out of trouble. Unless we're playing catch at the park or at a lake. Then she's all about beating me to the ball. But that's okay. She's my buddy.

My family goes camping alot, and we boat even more. I love the boat. The feel of the wind in my face, all the smells....I really, really love it when I hear a fishing line go out. I can't wait for my dad to bring in a fish! That's my favorite. Sometimes I can't control myself and I just jump in the lake and swim around looking for my own fish.

Let's see....My other likes. I love long walks in the rain, snuggling up with my family, guarding my kids. Like I said, I'm just your typical dude.
